Obok connects to your cloud accounts and existing tools without installing agents or making infrastructure changes. All cloud integrations use read-only access via native provider APIs.

## Cloud provider integrations

### Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Connection method: IAM Role with read-only policy (CloudFormation template provided)
- Setup time: under 3 minutes
- Supports: single account and AWS Organizations (multi-account)
- Services covered: EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, Lambda, EKS, CloudTrail, Config, SecurityHub, and more

### Microsoft Azure
- Connection method: Azure Service Principal with Reader role
- Setup time: under 3 minutes
- Supports: single subscription and Azure Management Groups (multi-subscription)
- Services covered: VMs, SQL, Blob Storage, Active Directory, AKS, Monitor, Defender, and more

### Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Connection method: Service Account with read-only IAM roles
- Setup time: under 3 minutes
- Supports: single project and GCP Organizations
- Services covered: Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, GCS, IAM, GKE, Cloud Logging, Security Command Center, and more

### Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Connection method: OCI IAM user with read-only policies
- Setup time: under 5 minutes
- Supports: single tenancy and multi-tenancy configurations

## Notification and workflow integrations

### Slack
- Receive security alerts and cost anomaly notifications in your Slack channels
- Configure alert thresholds and routing rules per channel

### Jira
- Export findings as Jira tickets automatically
- Map Obok severity levels to Jira priorities
- Track remediation progress in your existing project management workflow

### Datadog
- Send Obok security and cost metrics to Datadog dashboards

## API and export

### REST API
Full REST API for programmatic access to all Obok data — findings, compliance scores, cost recommendations, and more. Suitable for SIEM integrations, custom dashboards, and internal tooling.

### Export formats
- CSV export for spreadsheet analysis
- PDF reports for auditors and stakeholders
- JSON export for data pipeline integrations

## How connection works

1. Choose your cloud provider in the Obok dashboard
2. Follow the guided setup (IAM role, service principal, or service account)
3. Obok validates the connection and starts the initial scan
4. First findings appear within minutes

All connections use read-only access. Obok never writes to your cloud environment.
